Turns out there are some problems renewing the exchange agreement between the university I originally wanted to go to, and my university. So as a backup, I need to choose a new university to study engineering at in first semester of next year. There are no other unis in Japan that teach engineering in English.

Technical University of Denmark

Why Denmark you say? Why not! It seems like a really great uni, and apparently really good for engineering. In second semester I still plan to go to Japan, doing only language courses there.
